theres a difference Nou, I work 2 well paying jobs. You work none. I live at home with my immediate family, you were taken in by your aunt because you were gonna starve. We stay at home until we can afford a bigger house then our parents. You're at your aunts because you will never be able to afford a home or get a mortgage. I eat and sleep at my mom's and live my days and evenings workin......you eat sleep shit nap snack scracth your balls, cry, play action figures, wii, in your aunts basement...and i have a funny feeling you dont pay a rent or pitch in around the house either.
not to mention average house price in toronto is 420 000 right now. which is pretty much unaffordable on a single income. average house price id say where youre from is about 120 000-150 000 i could shit out that mortgage payment with 1 job. I own property that i rent out. you own a teddy bear. |
... I moved home almost 3 months ago... I do work a job, I am co-owner of a software company, we have a product, and we are looking to secure our first round of investment funding in January. Our product has already been displayed at two large defense industry conferences and we have prospective clients in multiple foreign governments. I also pay my own mom 750$ a month in rent to pay for my electricity and food expenses. I tried to pay my aunt and uncle that when I was living with them but they constantly refused, and it made me feel very guilty, one of the reasons I moved home.
Also home prices in Seattle are pretty much that or higher than Toronto, unless you wanna live where you will get shanked.
I don't believe in renting apartments either. Its throwing money away. If I am going to rent its from family, where the money is at least going to people I know.
So you can make up shit to pretend you and I do not have very similar living situations if it makes you feel better, but it doesn't negate the fact that you are like me right now.
