Hey guys just got home from Holland. It was a massive show from Armin at least in the time of curtain drop to 5AM ish. He got the set programming so well tuned and the live performances seemed spot on and didnt interrupt the flow of the set as a whole at all which was different from other Armin Onlys. He went for it full throttle once the curtain went down and it was sensational from then till 5AM or thereabouts.
The second to last hour with the cliched trance classics and Benno playing the chords on a keyboard was absolutly awful and killed the energy and atmosphere created in the hours before.
After that Armin struggled to recapture that atmosphere from the show earlier and while there was good tracks nothing stood out as it all wound down. The finishing version of Burned With Desire done acoustic with all the singers from the show was also so cheesy I couldnt listen to much of it lol
Overall a great show. On par with 2008 but in a different way. HAd he carried on the last 2 hours with what had went before you are maybe talking about one of the greatest nights ever. As it was I loved it.
