well lucky for me school is still in, so i'm not home yet to drink with my buddies... but the time will come... its not that hard to make it through the drinkin game.... by DRINK we mean one gulp of beer or whatever, not a shot, or an entire beer... anyways, its a fun game and yes, i would been screwed last night if we were playing... we're usually trashed by the end of a game... OT is what screws us all over, haha... |

Gotta admit that this describes me when it comes to the Oilers. I could care less about them during the season but follow their every move during the playoffs. (Which unfortunately is always too short) |

Don't get me wrong...the fact that the leafs have sold out everygame for as long as I can remember is unbelievable and the leafs following is one of the best in the league. I just wish people would support the leafs throughout the season, good or bad, and not give them because there on a losing streak or playing poorly. |
Im one of these people.
Ive played hockey all my life and Ive always been a fan.
However, I am not a diehard Leaf fan, Im not a diehard NHL fan. I just like hockey, and I would like to see Toronto win the Cup since Im from Toronto. Nothing wrong with supporting your local team.
I just don't pay close attention to the regular season because I find it to be boring. Ill watch the odd game here or there, but I have better things to do.
Playoff hockey is completely different though. I LOVE playoff hockey. They actually play hard when they realize that every game and every goal counts. You can't compare playoff hockey to regular season hockey.
I find nothing wrong with people "jumping on the stanley cup bandwagon", its just more support for the Leafs. What I can't stand is when people do jump on the bandwagon and all of a sudden they think they know everything there is to know about hockey and the Leafs. That's what pisses me off.
This is my favourite time of the year in Toronto. Everyone is happy because the sun starts shining and we all start losing our winter blues, and everyone is hyped about the leafs in the playoffs.
For a short time, the entire city is banded together by the Cup playoffs. If that means bandwagon jumpers, than so be it :p |

seriously... any help we can get is great... whether you've been a fan for 30 years or 30 days... hockey unites us all... like when canada won gold at salt lake... it was so great to see everyone marching around downtown cheering and celebrating, regardless of race, sex, religion, or whatever may have divided them before.. |

lets hope the leafs put in a full 60 mins of hockey tonight...and that the flyers dont come out like they did in the 2nd (although i think they will come out flying).
