uhmm, they did suck but last night they had to out play the refferies and flyers.
hmm, interesting Corson goes onto the blue ice and gets called for goalie interference, 1 minute later 3 flyers run into Belfoure one by one, and no call for that. Belak gets called for 2 minutes slashing penaltie against Brashier. Leclair, Amonte and Ronick slash more than one defenceman in the next 10 mintues at least 4 times. Hmm no calls? In the begining of the game Sundin gets cross checked by Leclair and he gets a 2 minute penaltie and what happens to Sundin? He gets a minor ruffin penaltie because he falls down on the ice from the shove??? Penaltie is served by someone else. There was at least one diving penaltie not handed out to Phillie that I saw with my own eyes. I mean it's really bizzare, something gets called on the Leafs, a minute later Flyers do the exact same thing but no they don't get called on it... And most times even the commentators are surprised with some of the that gets called... They are like "well the whisle has been blown but we have no idea why, was it a penaltie? I am not sure Harry....."
No wonder they can't play for some night Leafs are the second most penalized team in the league. So every night they play, they play against the refferes and the opposition.
Did u see towards the end of the game while in the penaltie box, Domi gave Brasheir thumbs down... why? Cause Brashier weighs 40 lbs more than Domi and is about 1 foot taller than him. But Domi said to him I still knocked u the down to the ice twice in that fight. LOL!
And Housley! No matter what Don Cherry said about him not been adjusted to the team... That's bull I mean the guy is a veterean and he has been on so many teams that he should be able to play a perfect game no matter what, but yet he ed up twice and let the flyers score on his mistakes.
It feels almost like the team is riding on Mogilny's back and his back is very bad. I know the leafs did not play a great game last night, but it was not just them, the reffs ed them too. |

^^ give me a break dude...there was NO excuse for how poorly the leafs played last night. i dont even think that quinn was harping about the reffing.
we sucked so bad, and it was not the refs fault. i just dont understand how the leafs can play so bad. i mean, we're in the bloody playoffs! but...if we look at this whole series like a leaf game, then we shouldnt be worried. because the leafs take a lead, then they lose it, and then win in the last period.
so im predicting that we will go back to philly tied in the series 2-2. the flyers will take game 5, and then the leafs will take 6 and 7 to win the series...i hope!

thats because the Leafs are known to whine, and nobody in the league likes them. The ref's give the Leafs a hard time when they play and are a little loose on the other team. They gotta stop bitching about the calls the refs make, and just accept it and focus on the game. |

| Great game, and they got the win just in time. Roberts and Mogilny both got dinged towards the end, and both teams were runnin outta steam. Good to see the Leafs win a game they DESERVED to win. At the moment watching the Ducks......yes, the Ducks....beating up on the Wings. Jigare of whatever the his name is, is stading on his head! Go Ducks!! |

corson...what a panzy ass. i used to like him, up until all his whining and bitching started to get annoying.
if he's the type of person that would get up and walk away from his hockey team come playoff time, then i wouldnt want him around the team anyway.
