PVD hype vs AVB hype
View this Thread in Original format

So when PVD was coming, the threads were coming from everywhere, there was twenty some odd pages on the event thread alone and that was weeks before the event.

AVB is coming, the iDream thread hasnt been posted in for days, no one is even asking what he will play. When PVD was coming people wanted to know what he would play even what he would wear.....

So what's the deal, is PVD that much more of a "god" than AVB? who's going to iDream? why isnt there any hype for Armin??????

wells.. the set times for AVB have already been posted in another thread.. and i don't think it's due to lack of hype. PVD has already been postponed as noted so obviously no more hype there for the time being. i think the main reason is just that there are too many other things going on before that weekend .. especially other events and final exams for a lotta ppl in uni ..

here's the events listing up to the weekend of the 20th:

Anty Boy (Russia) - Antraxx @ Club 254 (04-11-03)
Neuserfer (Russia) - Antraxx @ Club 254 (04-11-03)
Jimmy Van M (United States) - Lotus Niteclub (04-11-03)
Hernan Cattaneo (Argentina) - The Guvernment/KoolHaus (04-12-03)
Satoshi Tomiie (Japan/United States) - System Soundbar (04-12-03)
DJ Hypnotic (Switzerland) - Sound Emporium aka. Turbo (04-13-03)
Armin Van Buuren (The Netherlands) - The Guvernment/KoolHaus (04-17-03)
Danilo Vigorito (Italy) - Sugar Night Club (04-17-03)
Desyn Masiello (United Kingdom) - iDream @ The Guvernment/KoolHaus (04-17-03)
Farley "JACKMASTER" Funk (United States) - The Comfort Zone (04-17-03)
Gaetano Parisio (Italy) - Sugar Night Club (04-17-03)
Peter Rauhofer (Austria) - iDream @ The Guvernment/KoolHaus (04-17-03)
Steve Lawler (United Kingdom) - iDream @ The Guvernment/KoolHaus (04-17-03)
Tom Stephan (United Kingdom) - iDream @ The Guvernment/KoolHaus (04-17-03)
Groove Armada (United Kingdom) - Emerge Entertainment @ The Opera House (04-18-03)

I have no idea when the last time was that AVB came here, but I know it's been a few years now for PvD... Just a thought.

well actually its a little bit better then the return of Christ. I don't know if you know this but when Christ is supposed to return that is going to be the end of the world and we will all be judged!!! Ooooh, that'll be bad.

So yes, I was hyped for PVD since he is not here very often and has a lot of new stuff whereas AVB is here often enough and has no that much new stuff.

Malek, most of the ppl did not see PVD for almost two years by now. And he IS #1 trance dj in the world right now, and this website is called TRANCEaddict:)

public static void String happyMessage(WebSite name, DJ performer){
if (name.equals("TrancEaddict.com")&&performer.equals("PVD")
return "OMG, I die";
}
, how more nerdy that can get? :crazy: Too much work today:D
