Well headed in at around 11:30 expecting to have a drink or two and wait for the club to fill up and lo and behold......it was full of people, at 11:30! which was awesome to see for a trance night and it just got bigger as the night went on.
First up playing (well, when I got there) was Mangler and Miss Mel having an awesome time and playing some nice vocal tracks along with some crowd favourites.
They then surrendered the decks to Steve Strangis who played a wicked hour of the trance we know and love, opening with Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion mix)!!! and continuing to play all the tunes we know and love, finally ending with Alibi - Eternity. Did I mention Strangis' Angels were representing as usual? ;)
Then Liquid M came on, and I assumed they would be decent from all the talk about them.....but oh.my.god! Think Armin/M.I.K.E style music, but all quality, not a single filler track in there.
It flowed perfectly from beginning to end finishing up with some niiiiccceee vocal tracks, and boy were these guys getting into it. I feel reallly reaaallly sorry for the guy who was holding onto their table and monitor for the whole hour lololol. These guys were shakin their entire stand all over the place!
After Liquid M we had the two vinyl warning boys Reemo & Julian Reynolds giving out a masterful vs set just as always. Playing all the tunes mentioned in their post along with some other special goodies. These guys really worked the crowd, reemo constantly pumping his records in the air :crazy:, and a certain hottie right in front of the dj booth had the hots for reemo :eek: ;). It was also really nice to see a strong crowd still going for it during their 4-5am time slot.
After them Zac Curran started playing and continued the night with some solid trancers, but alas I decided to have a rest in the lounge area and chatted with some mates. But I could hear some good tunes playing, especially Eon - Pocket Damage and Gtr - Mistral.
Decided to head home at around 6:00 feeling mightily mangled and happily exhausted from one of the best nights out this year. Really sorry I didn't hang around for JulesPLees set from 6-7 which certainly would have been a treat, although did hear him opening with the new humate remix which was great to end with for me.
Big thanks to everyone who made it an awesome night, and all the TA's representing.
In particular thanks to Mark, Albert, Steve S, Steve G, Jolz, Michael T, Tim W, John W, Duncan :wtf:, JulesPLees, Nick, Andrew Y, and anyone else I missed out :wtf:
And I do believe a certain Steve Strangis shalt be dropping Ferry Corsten - Indigo and Kyau vs Albert feat. Damae - Velvet Morning (Mirco De Govia mix) tonight at viper!!! :D

They were almost gunna shut the joint at 6....I PLeeded with Con and Dave to give me 10 minutes...I ended up PLaying for about an hour...tek-trance biatches.

HBJ.. the track is called Cristallo by Cirillo (Vandit club mix).. its actually Vandit No.11, so quite old & in my opinion close to the best track ever released on that label. Big statement i know, but it is my ultimate form of club music... cept the pressing makes it hard to mix in!! (i just guessed & pretended it was supposed to sound like that)
