Nah seriously, i think it was the better than the other previous 5am nights...
The crowd was up for it and you really couldn't ask for a better atmosphere :eyespop:

HAHAH i'd like to thank steve for saving me from a drunk guy from NZ, i had absoultely no idea what he was talking bout, but he just kept talking and talking :rolleyes:

Brothers and Sisters; Liquid M + 1 Roadie (IE ME) have FINALLY MADE IT HOME.....I'm no promo guy for them, so I will not comment for them, but yeah my night :)
Started off @ Spy bar early in the morning, and was impressed by the venue and the DJ.....I was dead as from a REALLY REALLY long drive the night before and no sleep to enter the club just before the massive break down in 3rd earth...Man Steve, you REALLY know how to get it going @ what 10am??? From then in the day was breeze to get through (even tho I STILL haven't found my sunnies yet WTF!)...Mangler played a top uplifting/vocal mix with Oceanlab Sky Falls down, being my fav track from his set (orignal mix tho, i'm a AvB fan). From there it gets all hazy, but was generally impressed with Charlie Z (who played a NEW version [whitelabel/bootleg?] of Nothing but you, Miss Mel and Zac....
After we packed up and headed back to the hotel 2 eat, I decided to explore and ended back late @ the hotel then late 2 r00m, but still had time 2 setup before it opened.
Wow what a night! The venue is tops. I spent quite a while before Liquid M spinning about just listening 2 the quality of the speakers, lol, and the way the lights were layed-out/positioned AND their movment (sequences i think they are?). Unfortunatley, my brain (well now anyhow) is dead from the lack of sleep, so I can't comment much on the night, cept some TIGHT mixes all night, with my highlight being pulser - cloudwalking.
Low point was getting searched by security @ the door 2 the toilet to see if i was a heroin junky for a few mins.
Hybrid Junkie I can work something out for you if u want a CD. PM me if u want me 2 do the very little leg work to get you a cd.
Youngy Lol, they weren't really into it as the table was shaking too much. Seriously, these guys normally jump off the ground, they were restrained as the table I was holding wasn't too strong. It's funny though, they still were REALLY into it and REALLY wanted to get more into it, but could see the table couldn't take their energy :(
TA's I remember meeting were the DJ's and Miss Vandit. As I posted on ITM I got some fotos during the night (Julian/Mangler/reemo + a few club shots) but not enough for a gallery, lmk if u want a link to my private gallery.
All in all 10+1 out of 10 :)

Liquid M rocked -- liked all of their tracks, and it was great to see and hear something a bit different. Mangler had me mangled with Nu NRG - Butterfly to end his set, Steve Strangis cranked it out as always (3rd Earth: w00t!!, and hearing Aria - Dido for the first time out), then Jules & Reemo messed me right up with Dito - Sky. :crazy: Top night, even though I did spend most of it sitting down for a change.
The crowd was brilliant -- really friendly, very relaxed vibe, and plenty through the door this time. I think we really saw on Friday night a glimpse of what 5AM can become. Props to all the TAs I met, especially Jolene for her amazing staying power (4:30am and still there -- nice one!). Apologies to JulesPLees for missing what I heard was a great tech-trance set. I love that stuff, but my mates were dragging me home :( |

urrrhhh :wtf: soo very tired..
headed off to viper last nite and unfortunately only caught the end of Manglers set finishing with cloudwalking :crazy:
hung around until 2:30 for steve who delivered as usual, playing some tight tunes including beautiful together, revelation, (I think remover as well), silence, 10 in 01 hehehehe only for *that* crowd :rolleyes:, diving (H&H mix), some other top tunes as well, but after getting home at 6am the last two nights my memory isn't exactly at it's peak :p
charlie zee came on at 4am and played some nice vocal stuff, including dt8 - destination, but alas we were rather tired and had to drive to coburg :wtf: and then back to canterbury
still had a great night, lookin forward to some more steve, albert, jules, reemo, julian, charlie djing :D |

It was the first time ive done it, but I printed the list because many times ive promised myself to play certain tracks but then forgotten. Sometimes when flicking through two boxes of you somehow miss tracks you really wanted to play.. its absolute pain the next day when you realise :)
