jonsimmonds
a few points

- i think that it should be centred, not to the left

- whats the playlist bit on the left?

- the links should open the page in a new window ( rar i do belive, its been ages since i did html)

-that pic of the fit chick should be bigger!!!

- some form of border under the main infomation scrool box

not menaing to sound picky but i looked at the page with a critical poit of view :)

Jon

*edit*

that whos here thing kicks arse! but when you expand things on the playlist the playlist gets longer, and goes behind the whos here, i.e the whos here should move down but it doesnt, not sure how you move things relative to another objects position

thanks man!

i'm working on the playlist thing (latest songs played by me in winamp) if you click on it the layer gets bigger i think i'm gonna steal it from another site hehe!

if it's centred you see the pic of the girl is cut off at the left side i don't like that and if the pic of girl gets bigger people on 800x600 (more than you think) get complaining they see only the girl

the pic of the girl was only a small request! i cant belive people like to use small resolutions, with todays graphics cards they can easily be handled, imm at 1600*1200 atm :D

ok, first of all, go right now to your site and remove that ANNOYING AS ING HELL script which doesnt let you leave your page when you hit the back button. i dont see why anyone (except a big company) would be a total ASS-HAT and put that on their site. it only pisses people off who visit your page. including me >_<

second, the design is off to a good start but its very choppy and very, very plain. the playlist, home, and links rectangle all have that white line type image, but theres a big hole in between each one,.. they dont flow together like a console or something. that makes it look like you didnt know what you are doing, or accidentally put cellpadding/cellspacing in the table ;)

the plain part was referring to that huge amount of whitespace both above the boxes and to the right. it just screams for you to add a banner/header/image that makes the design all fit together.

also, dont get in the habit of putting up copyrighted pictures as part of your design. if you are going to use a pic of that girl, clearly place credit to her website or the photographer of that picture, either on the bottom of the page, or on a subsequent link.

you may also want to put up a notice saying "this page is best viewed in IE" if you want people to see the scrollbar colors, etc (since those are an IE only feature). iFrames are also an IE only thing. keep in mind to anyone using netscape, the iframe wont work at all, and the colors will be all screwed up.

and just from a code point of view (because im anal about clean source code or code type things), id be careful about doing too many include statements with your javascript. prolly is a better idea to have one javascript file that you include at the top. especially when you start getting into asp/jsp/php stuff, when you include too many things (but different browsers can have different problems with including X amount of scripts), youll notice that some of them dont load (and will prolly spend awhile trying to figure out why your page isnt working.. i know this from experience).

the site is only beginning, a logo a the white space at the top is coming next to the girl, somebody is making it for me, i have to put some links to others things i use on my site, and the back button thing, i don't need it anymore it was because my site was located at a very long pathname so i'm gonna remove that

and netscape yeah 99.9% use IE, i know it's ed up but i don't gonna support netscape in opera it works fine

I like the layout a lot. Creative, clean, and interesting site layouts really keep people coming back.
