| Well.. If you want a good table but dont want to pay that much (or more for a tech12) try a Stanton STR-100 or STR-90 |

Try looking downtown just in case you can find something, though online is generally better (not always).
Look into Metro Sound on Yonge. |

You wanna start out with TTX1's? Well, that's a pretty solid price for them, and if you're not ready to pay that, well, look into the used ones or something... |

way too high tech...
i'm starting out too. Go for cheaper/used stuff
used Techs are always good. 1200 will NEVER crap out on u unless u drop them out of a moving vehicle.. then yea.. go figure:stongue: |

From my experience, here in Toronto they REAM you for used TTs. I went to some places here and they want as much money for USED tables as they do for the new ones (in what I mentioned above). |

That's why you don't buy them at stores... cuz they'll try to make as much money on them as they can. Just look around for people selling their used equipment. |

Yeahthat is also true. Like http://www.buysellzone.com or pick up a Buy and seel news paper. I see a lot of ppl selling their decks and mixers there.
Ebay is Ok but there is just something about buying decks from a guy all the way in san fransisco and on top of that the duty u need to pay when u are buying from overseas. I know someone that had to pay 400 bucks Duty on his decks and mixers when it arrived at his house. Keep it local. |
