Do you feel that you improve, with each new track that you produce?

Yup!
Every track gets better.

thanks for those words
right now I feel pretty discouraged... don't feel like I'm going anywhere really in terms of my music
tranzMental
Yes, I do every track that I make each day get's better and better; now the only issue I have, is with 'Mastering' and 'Compressing' my sounds which is gonna take me a while to learn with my ears; doesn't help having crappy speakers, and headphones.

But, in time, my music will be mastered, and I'm SURE that in a year or two, my stuff will sound pro, DEFINETLY! I just wanna learn how to play musical instruments, which I will learn from a musical genious that I know in person. -Mental
kewlness
Definately yes...

i started producing about a year ago now... and my very first song, was a total joke...

but i've definately improved a great deal just by making more songs and reading the threads in the production forums

I'm not even close to beginning that... **sigh**

right now, all my tracks just produced 'as is' in FL, no mastering, no EQ'ing, no compression, no nothing...

there's so many complicated things to learn.... :(

How long have u been making music Eugene?
nic01445
dun worry man. I know how you feel. Sometimes i just sit at my comp for hours tryin to put a synth together, and simply nothing happens. When you get discouraged, just relax. Don't try to put music together, just let it happen. Some of my best work happens when i just something out, and then tweak it for a little bit. Yeah, you get better after every track. It just takes time.

w0rd. I've been doin it about 7 months. Haven't put out any music for a while though. Been tryin out some new progs. So now im back in suck-mode. :\ One thing that really helps is to listen to really good producers and try to copy their sound. I mean, you want an original sound for real productions, but it helps to learn the basics of how things SHOULD sound.

I agree!
You learn alot doing that!
Most ppl say that u have to stay original but that's hard to do when u've just started to make music.
Try to analyse tracks and figure out how they are made.
