It depends on a lot of stuff: money, what you want study, what kind of city you want to be in, etc.
Although all the schools are solid, it should really be a decision between Michigan and NYU. Michigan is a great school, which combines the traditional atmosphere of a large university (sports, partying) with top-notch academics. NYU is also excellent academically, but with a cozier and more independent, laid-back style (while the Wolverines will kicks the Violets' asses athletically, NYC owns Ann Arbor as a city...)
If you want to study something specific, then choose according to that (e.g. Tufts for Engineering)
With my biases acknowledged, I'd choose NYU 'cause I'm a New Yorker and 'cause the half-dozen Michigan grads I've met haven't really impressed me.
Congrats on getting into these fine schools and good luck! |

how the hell did you get into tufts???
99% of people from our school who applied got rejected... and our school is one of the smartest schools in the east coast... i'm in the 85th percentile with my crappy 7.8GPA...
but i heard negative comments about tufts, how it's all stuck-up rich kids and etc.... and like everybody there is the same, no individuality... at least that's what i've heard from 2 people who visited |
