What does that mean? I was browsing around the web and i had been interested in " trance" as a genre so i check out some of the biggest places for electronic music and try and learn what they think about trance.They say "that trance is not even a genre" and refering to the people who listen to this music as "crasher kids". I really dont know why all the hate for trance? That is coming from people who are into the dance music for years before trance came along. It seems that they are tired when someone says "i like techno" and say Tiesto, Armin etc. This is not something that can make me happy offcourse, but the whole thread was about this "crasher kids" thing. So lets stick to it. ;)

crasher kids refers to gatecrasher goers. the sheffield superclub?
it refers to the gatecrasher 'movement' if you will. it's popular all over the world, and i guess what they're trying to do is kind of market-name the events that they hold, and refer to their clubbers, the gatecrasher clubbers, affectionately as Crasher Kids. |

| I've always associated Crasher Kids with Candy Ravers, simply because they like the music simply for the "hey look at me, I'm being diffrent" factor. |

i definitely agree. after all, i'm sure everyone has tried to convert someone to trance at some point ;) i didn't discover it by myself, honestly.
...plus, is gatecrasher THAT big of a club? :) not like i haven't heard of it, but that's not my point .. |
