to be honest, and i love hybrid, but i'm not really a fan of the more proggy stuff that hybrid does. and i think if they did a gu album, it would definantly be along that proggy line. but then again, hybrid could also completely blow me away with a gu album, cuz i'm sure they'd give it 110%. unfortuantly i don't think hybrid will get a chance at it. :(

but i'd have to give my vote to James Zabiela!!! :D

Teknoscaper.
To be honest I don't like the idea of G&D, Hybrid or any other well know producers doing a GU. Yes they may be decent producers, but they're not notable Dj's. With the exception of James Lavelle, all the Dj's that have done GU's have made their names from Dj-ing primarily and not their production. A GU dj must have the ability to get sounds from a whole range of artists and create soundscapes that can actually mean something, and its for this reason that the GU series have become so popular.

GU is a series for Dj's, not producers wanting to be Dj's.

How boring is a GU gonna be if you have a tracklising like

CD1
Hybrid - Title
Artist - Title
Hybrid - Title
Artist - Title (Hybrid Mix)
Maurice - Title
Hybrid - Title
Artist - Title
Artist - Title (Hybrid Mix)
Hybrid - Title

I personally think a GU would be stupid if it just turned into an artist mix. I mean its stupid enough that we get the likes of Digweed & Deep Dish getting away with GU's as Bedrock or Yooshi release samplers.
