That's nothing spectacular at all, the forums on somethingawful.com on the other hand are:
There are currently 1082 forum members and 197 wanna-be members on the boards.
The largest amount of SA Goons online at once was 2553 on Apr 15, 2003. Wow!
Not a huge difference, but the famous cell phone forums are most likely sponsored with bandwidth, SA isn't. It also turns out that VB is horse when having that many members, especially searching.
EDIT: I see a fellow goon has already mentioned it. :D |
