Its very simple dood.. it just takes a little bit of work.. it won't be boring...
Easiest ways ive found to increase "smart" as you call it..
Read, read read... can't stress this enough, read newspapers, magazines, books, read anything.. wats the worst about meeting people? they don't read nothing... meaning they aren't really into anything therefore then can't really evaluate their own perspective when it comes to conversational topics.
One of the easiest ways ive found is movies, yes whether its VHS, DVD or the Cinemas, its easy to learn things... movies are a telling or a story, learn things from this... why?
Easy.. movies are visual, you remember what you hear and picture in your head what is going on, and you remember things that happen and also things that are said.
Listen to people, don't just hear your own voice when you speak, that not only shows arrogance, it also shows that you are very good, next time you go out.. listen to the birds, the traffic, and when you start thingking.. stop and listen!
It sure is nice having a degree in whatever, but street life is another thing, sure you have a thesis in whatever, but life is about many things, try to learn many things about anything, that not only stimulates your brain, it helps you have a different perspective on your life and what you can contribute.
Anyways i think im getting off the subject a little, but yeah, do anything that stimulates your senses, touch, sound, vision, smell... Why? Because it helps your remember things..
*Note, those ppl that do well @ skool is because they remember all the important quotes, poems and equations, that doesn't really make you smart @ the end of the exams, we just think they are smarter...

one thing for sure, that's not the smartest way to become smarter, in fact you might become dumber.:stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
I explain, your brain is a muscle, you need to train it, be it logical problems you got to solve, playing chess, listening to music while reading (doing two things at once enhance your brain), etc etc...
Watching a movie is like puting your brain on "hold", there's no interaction, there's no challenge, there's nothing that your brain can do... you're there watching a movie. If that was a magic solution to be smarter, I guess everyone would be a lot smarter now due to all the movie watching (and tv watching) happening, this is not the case.:D
And yes there's many category of intelligence, its not BS. |

| Books will surely make you more knowledgable..but smarter ? I doubt that! You might appear more intelligent since for most people knowledge equals intelligence. This might be true but is not automatically the case. But, to be honest, I prefer ambitious, interested "less intelligent" people who seek for more and more to lazy geniuses who waste their talents. |

| dont hang around stupid people. Its contagious!(sp?) Go to a meeting or read the paper more. Discuss the current events with people and share your knowledge along with them sharing theirs. Learn to cope with stuff that you know you can't help, like I suck at spelling, but i adapt..SPELL CHECK! be resourceful. |
