I think there's lots of different ways to be "smart". Well, i guess it has more to do with different aptitudes etc.. Some people are good at all the usual ty boring stuff like maths etc.. then other ppl like.. profesional footballers etc are geniuses in their field. Stuff like boxing etc too, you think of the likes of mike tyson as being somebody who spent his life in the gym trainin etc, and that's all he's use for. But like, not just anybody can do that. He's in his own way a genius, and ppl prob think he's completly dumb as he cant barely string a sentence together..
Conversational skills are also a type of inteligence. (my opinion anyways). Like, some people can start a conversation anywhere / anytime with a complete stranger and have plenty to talk about, where as myself and many others, generally get stuck after the "hello" part.
I suppose too there's probably people who are just plane crap at everything.. guess it's just about findin what you're good at!
That's my opinion on the matter anyways!

taking IQ tests (or similar things) can *aparrently* (i just heard this) increase your ability to do stuff like mathematical equations etc.. Like, you're only capable of using something like.. 4% or 30% of your brain - something small like than anyways. So it's basically training your brain.
I dunno if there's any truth in this or not, but i heard it a few years ago. I havn't tried it out as i think i'm smart enough :D

| Drink water too. Your brain works way better when you're not dehydrated. |

since the harvard phd is fundamentally no more intelligent than the toothless trailer-park yokel, what you should do is rely on your common sense rather than trying to make yourself "smarter."
you'd be amazed at how many people exercise almost no common sense at all... |

i guess you had to do this since nobody noticed your first post here.
posting two absolutely useless posts in one thread doesn't make you look any smart either ;) |

as for the question, there are special vitamins for better brain metabolism. (i worked in a health food store, so i know this)
there is ginko biloba, of course, for better memory function... there are a lot of things that enhance brain work also.. (5-htp, essential amino-acids - especially glutein, etc.)... just go to the nearest health food store and ask the professional there. |
