but they said on the news that there were loads of arguments from anglers because it hasn't been scientifically proven that fish have nerves that tell the brain its experiencing pain. or sommot like that. i only caught a bit of it whils gobbling me shepheards pie :p

hmm.......i think its possible - but they dont have a brain, well its tiny..and brain is wot controls pain...the sensory adn motor nerves pik up the impulses from axons and deliver msg to brain - which translates them as pain (its not known how this is dun)...wiv their 'brain' i dnt think its possinle

of course they do! they will feel pain, but then every 4 to 5 seconds they will forget that they are in pain, so in theory there not actually suffering.
