I dont think you understood what I was saying.
Rap = Cash Money (BG, Lil Wayne, Baby, Nelly (New) Master P, Mystical, Outkast, Busta Ryhmes, Lil Kim, P-diddy, ect.)
Hip Hop = 2 Pac, Scarface, (Old 95-97) Master P, Older Trick Daddy, Dead Pres., ect.
The difference about hip hop and rap.
Rap = Lyrics and formation about Bling Bling, Cars, just rapping about like that.
Hip Hop = Traditional "rap", about life, growing up (the streets), ect.

i find it real ed up how everyone when describing a female artists music they always have to throw in how they think shes fat or ulgy or anything characterist as to how she looks as a person.
i dont like her music....that song is alright only because i like luda... |

missy elliot is a horrible "musician", her music isn't even rap rofl only fruitcakes like micheline would think so...on top of her horrible music she's fat and ugly
i can so many RAPPERS that are betetr than missy elliot even tho her fat ass doesn't even count as rap

it's not about the rapping, it's the production, and her tracks of late have been ing good, no doubt due to timbaland and ludacris....

who the cares about production when she herself is a horrible artist...what if dumonde or armin van buuren produced a puff daddy rap song and it'll still sound horrible
first off those rankings were based on my opinion...secondly how can you not put warren g and ice cube up there? do you even listen to rap? do you even know ANYTHING about rap? did you listen to ice cube back in his heyday when he released "amerikkas most wanted" "predator" "lethal injection" those were some of the greatest hip hop albums every released..he is obviously one of the most influential rap/hip hop artists around
although warren g hasn't done much of late back in 94-96 he released some damn good classcis like "regulate" "this dj" which had awesome productions and were just pure hip hop so i think he deserves to be up there...
the reason why eminem isn't up there is cuz i hate his music and his style, plus he's a whiney little bitch...not cuz he's white :rolleyes: |

Missy Elliots early work is awful, yet the new stuff is good, it's down to production, the stuff she's done is catchy as hell, and has staying power, don't know about the US, but get your freak on is still played here....
I've never been a fan of warren g myself, regulate was cool, but was more Nate Doggs influence on the track was cool, always seemed to me he made it big because of who his friends were, but could be wrong...
and fair enough about eminem :stongue: |
