True. The Piano mix of "Face To Face" is the last decent thing I can remember from him. There's nothing wrong with "Words" however, but the melody is boring compared to "Paul van Dyk - Forbidden Fruit (East Of Eden Mix)" which I like very much. It's from 1996 and it's very much ahead of its time, unfortunately PVD hasn't really moved on and developed much new sounds.
Though I haven't given up on Johnston yet.
And angry monkey does indeed have ears. |

Chicane & Power circle - Offshore 97 <----- Vocals Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! The only chicane work I dont like.
Prodigy - Baby's got a temper <--------Wank. Bring back the old prodigy!
PVD - Nothing but you (vandit club mix) <----------e, sounds like it is from 1996 and would even be bad by 96' standards. PVD needs to get back to his style that he had with the 'Seven ways' album.
Matt Darey's remix of Heliotropic - Alive. <--------- He put a speed garage bassline under a trance melody. Now I respect originality, but not when it sounds like this.
Futureshock - Birdcage <-------- UK Garage from Futureshock..........Sort it out:rolleyes:
Armin van Buuren & Shane 54 - Give me the words <--------- Give me my money back more like. Awful male vocals.
Warrior - Voodoo <--------- Come on Michael, we wanted better than this. Oliver Lieb rescued it though.
Albion - Air 2000. Didnt like the re-work. Original or Ferry's open air mix were better. |

Why are you telling me this?! He was the one who wouldn't accept my opinion. I went on from there. If I said it is horse , what would the point be in arguing with that and claiming it's in fact his best production ever? |
