nice one you complete prat. :stongue:

I don't wanna sound like an , but as a classical musician I always found the Ferry Corsten mix overtly cheesy and offensive. It tried too hard to be epic hands-in-the-air, typical Ferry fluff.

Now this remix is pure class, and hearing it live for the first time right there in the Gelredome was priceless. One of the most amazing trance experiences ever for me :)

I've yet to hear the Tiësto remix so i'm looking forward to it. :p

Yes,but the track Ferry remixed was William Orbit's rendition, and that's the track in question here.So stop nitpicking:p

I agree.
William Orbit hasnt really anything to do with it.
Why not:
DJ Tiesto - Barber's Adagio for Strings

:)

Well Mr. Barends, you would know better than us but aren't the synths Tiesto uses in the breakdown borrowed from William Orbit's ambient original version? Also, this Tiesto remix, as well as the Ferry Corsten remix, only uses the main melody from the original Barber as used by William Orbit and not the whole development of the the melody that takes place in Barber's original. But I don't know, guess we will find out about the proper title later.

PS-From 22:00 to 23:00 hours, the music playing was a compilation made by Tiesto of his favorite chillout tracks. I believe William Orbit's original was the last one that was played. Does this mean anything?
