What are your theories about how Neo killed the sentinals?

My theory is that there is endless matrixes...as in, there's a matrix for the matrix...etc..so everywhere can be 'hacked' i dont know how to explain it better than that.

but thats just my theory.

anyways..

the matrix is the star wars of our generation..h4x ;D

??? According to The Architect it's quite simple: Theres the Matrix we all know about (the one revealed in part 1) but since not compatible with all humans (how exactely do the machines see that? I mean, do those "lifeless" bodies actually reject the simulation to the extent that they "wake up", realizing their life as batteries but then immediately shown a second, more suitable matrix?). Or Zion is indeed the real world that is destroyed and re-built. there are these options imo:

Morpheus is partly right: The real world folks (those people who don't accept the Matrix), are probably just plugged of the simulation, and better kept in an "real" illusion of a war against the machines. However this fight is hopeless as the entire "prophecy" thing is a repeated process of improvement of the actual matrix (one uses the experiences from this war against real humans, in order to modify the Matrix accordingly, so that one day 100% of the people will just accept the "normal" world)

Parallel Matrixes: Matrix A for those who accept the normal everyday life simulation and Matrib B for those who prefer the war thingy.

Matrix within the Matrix: Theres one big Matrix, with a second Matrix as a gimmick. All humans live the "zion" dream thinking that they're real and that they must free the other from the 'Matrix'.

I still dont get all the endeavor by the machines though. Are our minds THAT ppowerful that they require such a complex and perfect "reality" in order to exist peacefully? They seem to be way too bored (too much timeon their..em...'hands') to develop such stories for the sake of entertainment of the enslaved humans. Assuming Neo is a programm run by the machines, is the articifical intelligence(+ emotions) he aquires suddenly threatening the plan of his creators? Choice...the machines assume that he has no choice, since they created him, but realizing that, Neo s them by doing the thing contradicting his "purpose".

Has anyone seen the movie "Thirteenth Floor"?
It's like a virtual reality within a virtual reality
i think it was made in the late 90s

So I don't think the Wachowski brothers would go in that direction, just because its been done before.
Or I'd at least be very disappointed if they went that way.

Wanted to see it today but tickets have been fully booked since yesterday :(

(came out yesterday in uk)

Not that surprising. matrix is rated R and spiderman is rated pg13. so everyone and their brother can get into spiderman and you have to be 17 (or know someone) to get into the movie.

so why the hell don't they get rid of the sex scene and make it pg-13 and score more money on it

eh, i'm still pissed off at the sex scene. so totally uncalled for.

*cough*gay?*cough* lol..ii know what you mean j/k, the sex scene just came out of no where....you know nerds these days, can't do anything other than think about sex for a week...

What's wrong with the sex scene?!?!? .. Damm .. I thought you.. cough cough.. guys.. cough cough.. won't be bother to watch that kind of things.. I see that you guys might be on the OTHER side of the road of things.. sorry if that scene bother you .... In my opinion, that scene was so great in the meaning of how the music, people dancing and them on the sex scene, it fits so well, that's what TRANCE music is all about too.. so WTF?

SO GOOD, MUST WATCH AGAIN

all this talk of matrix's within matrix's, 2 matrix's, Neo is a program and stuff, it hurts my brain to think! :conf: :conf: :conf:

The 3rd one is going to be the best as it will explain everything, the trailer was too short at the end tho!! :whip: :whip:

the special efffects rocked, and the fight scenes were sooooo good too.

Matrix r0x0rs! :D

it'd be neat to have an Animatrix 2 to fill a lil info before Revolutions

btw, those credits were LONG. It must have been like 15 minutes. i was dying to see the Revolutions preview! It looks great!

you know, sometimes things just don't fit with each other and having a sex scene in the matrix is like having a deep philosophical scene in a porno movie. it was just stupid.

i liked the movie overall, but i thought that compared to the first part it had too many major flaws. although i was really really tired to tell / comprehend...

it seems to me that the movie got commercialized - they saw how popular all the special effects from part i were and they incorporated more of them into the second part

SPOILERS!!

for example, neo stopping bullets, ripple effect, green matrix outlines of people, kung fu fighting... i think the first 45 or so minutes of the movie are totally pointless and stupid... party? commanders? the sex scene? wtf? when morpheus was standing in that other commander's office, i felt like i was watching star trek.
why would they ever make cliched subplots in the matrix, such as the niobe conflict? plus wtf is up with neo being the superman of the 21st century?
i think the movie should've started with the oracle scene. but on the other hand, the third part is where everything will be explained and where it will end. this was just a pre-story, which was packed with random special effects and marketed as a movie. i feel that the third part will be much better. my friend said i should've watched the animatrix before i saw Reloaded, it explains some stuff too. i can't believe though that spiderman still beat reloaded in terms of grossing money...

anyway, i was so wiped out during the movie, not only did i not catch the plot, i forgot what the hell happened. lol. anyway, i'd wanna see it again, not so much for the special effects, but to understand it more.

Yes, the movie was too filled with all those unnecessary action scenes. And that stupid tribal dance and Morpheus addressing the nation speech were totally uncalled for. It would have been better if they had focused more on the plot development instead of all that fighting.
