Who here likes UK HArd House?

Just out of curiosity, who else here likes UK hard house other than me? I feel kind of lonely ont eh subject. I had a guy froma UK HH Message board ask me how the HH scene was here and I had to tell him that there was not much of one and wish there was.
I myself like UK HH cause of the High BPM. Pretty Much anything by Tidy I Like :D. Wish Anne Savage would come here. Anyone else here into it? |

| I have Tony DeVit's Global Underground CD. It's pretty good Hardhouse. I also have a Lisa Lashes liveset that is really good. When I was in the UK I went to a couple sundissential paries and they were awesome. I saw Lab4 live and that was probably the convincing moment for me that there was something about hard house that is worthwhile. For the most part, I'd say HH ranks much lower than trance and prog as my personal taste in music. HH can get boring quick IMO. |

| I dunno during the era of Tony DeVit the "UK HardHouse" was excelent, now it's gone down so much in quality, or maybe I just outgrew out of that genere and generally don't like it as much any more... but there are very rare occasions when there is still a good tune released in the UK Hardhouse style... but it's very rare nowdays it seems... |

BTW, "stupid house" officially is a term for that weird Nu-skool house with hoovers and ed-up basslines, it's not the same as hard house. ;) |

| it was called the belgian nu-nrg sound to begin with. Tony De Vit was the king of hard house till he died in 1998. Actually a set from him (not completely hard house), essential mix from 1995 exists and me and some ukta's are trying to get Swamper to post it in july (5th anniversary of the dude's death). |

| ....another thing with hard house is all the sped up voices...you know what I mean? THe chipmunk like voices all sped up kinda like happy hardcore. I don't really like that too much, it can be annoying and you hear it alot in Hard House. |

I think you're thinking of ghetto house/booty house... that's not the case with all hard house... |
