Techno is quality too, but different entirely

techno = loud banging noises, clashign together to make stoner kids dance.

Trance = melody x 10000...thats waht its all about kids.

yes.!

I think of techno as not very unique hard stuff while trance is somewhat sofer, deeper and more complex, placing a greater sense of emotion in the listener. er, thats what I came up with off the top of my head :haha:

Unfortunately no one can be told what the difference is, you have to hear it for yourself. :toocool:

how is this a hard question???

techno in general is much more percussive and harder / abrasive than trance. from my understanding most trance is within a specific BPM range also (120's-130's?) and techno varies more or is within a completely different range. IANADJ but they have a totally different 'sound' altogether, and i think as a finer point there are some notable structure differences (though i couldn't tell you exactly what)...:eyespop: :eyespop:
