now thaz i like, no ignorance, live ur own life, but know what the consequences r...

Good or Evil. buddhist teach purification and transformation from what could be classified as bad or evil to the good and of the light [compassion and loving kindness]. you can't walk both sides, like a linewalker, and you can't be bad either - you can only choose goodness.

IE: the famous tibetan master Milarepa [who developed the Tummo training] was a murderer until he realized his wicked ways and reformed myself.

Christian Religion. It's just the people and egos that give Christian teachings a bad reputation. Their developed arrogance, subtle or blatant, sullies the name of Jesus. It can be the same for other major religious denominations, such as Buddhist traditions. Though Buddhist practitioners, monks, and masters rarely push their belief system on other non-believers, cuz they're much less arrogant and egotistical in nature. It's also a common misconception with Buddhist traditions and Buddhism, the 'ism' was pigeon-holed by the West, but these traditions had nothing to do with god(s) worship, with the [not very distinct] exception of Tibetan system. Buddhist systems were focused on developing high levels harmony and peace, teaching and discussing applied buddhist psychology, without the dogma.

The Tibetan tradition is one of the most mystical sect in Buddhist teachings. I"ve only ran across 3 of all 5-6 books, excluding Dalai Lama's works, that was published. Tibetan training is nothing to sneeze at either, it's more than just reading and reciting sutras, and developing deep Tibetan style meditation. The chosen and dedicated few get to learn Tummo, or known in India as Kundalini. The ability to harness energy outside and inside the body for spiritual cultivation and development, wellbeing and health fitness. It is also very dangerous in attempting to harness Tummo, as it is one of the most potent and volatile [asleep] energy phenomenon that exists in everybody's body.

I've heard that the high Tibetan masters sit in the snow, in minus cold weather with only their skimpy robes on, meditate and start melting snow.. I've heard my friend told me a gentleman versed in fire meditation swam the English channel in winter time.

The only book[s] to date that even tries to teach Tummo is 'Bliss of Inner Fire' or 'Bliss of Clear Light'.

Tibetan training kick Budda ass, I'll dare to say these guys are the strongest bunch in all Buddhist traditions.

maybe the moth thing = the same as the spider thing, harmless, but one second, theres nothing, the other, theres a spider, or a moth, damn, u dont wanna know how often them damn things scare the outta me!!! but im not affraid of em, just the surprice act i dont like :)

maybe it has smth to do with paranoia as well, i can be pretty damn paranoia, and things turning up like that while u didnt notice anything can easilly freak u out

hehe.. sounds like you're sketchy and certain things will make you even more sketchy. Which means one certain aspect, that your brain is producing more dopamine than normal people would. Not to alarm you but to you direct to the fact that too much dopamine is the cause behind schizoprenia. it sounds like you're predisposed to react to certain stimuli introduced into your environment, just like ppl with schizoprenia in various extremities. This could be a temporary disorder for you or a problem that needs outside professional attention.

Spiders. I had a dream once when I was a young kid living in Saigon. I saw in my dream that I woke up from sleeping and didn't realized I was still in a dream. I got out of bed and started walk to the door where there was a BIG HUMUNGOUS tarantula [at least 3 feet high] standing at the doorway. Funny thing is, I wasn't scare of it and I pretty much inches away from the spider. It didn't move at all, just stood there; and I was so curious as to why it didn move at all that I was about to touch it when my grandma pulled me back; and told me to go to bed. That morning I was talking about the dream to my family, my auntie and my grandma said they had the same dream, seeing me walk towards the giant tarantula. To this day I still remember that dream, yet I barely remember any other dreams I have.

Guess I'm not afraid of spiders or creepy crawlies. :)

My friend who had a spider crawl on his face while he was sleeping, just freaked out, yelped like a hyena and did the funky chicken!!:D

my biggest fear is avalanche. I live next to the Rockies..and during winter, im always there..Im a boarder by heart(and if I got a minidisc player...I could rave n board @ the same time...ahh to die for) but I had 4 friends die in an avalanche @ once..that kinda hit hard, cuz I was @ the same ski resort a week earlier...so Im scared of hearing a crack, and then seeing a white wave comin down on my ass

it's a relative correlation. If a person is already arrogant, intolerant and ignorant, that person will be just as the same or more in a religion. Or the possibility, it makes the person blind with tunnel vision.

True.
I'm not affraid of death in general, but I do fear death like this: when it's painfull, of in panic.
Most horrible would be drowning I guess, or indeed being eaten by a shark. I still don't trust swimming in the sea. It's not as bad as it was before, because when I was younger I freaked when I saw a stone or something under water, and I thought it was something else.
It's strange really, because sharks aint that harmfull at all. They usually just attack surfers, because from down the water surfers look like seadogs (or whatever they are called in English: you know: those animals that get beaten to death because of their fur and/or skin)

see im not scared of drowning @ all, altho its supposed 2 one of the worst ways to go. But Im a water baby(u know its a slow news day, when the cover of local paper has full page pic of baby in water wings splashing all over the place @ local pool..twas ME)..I trust in my skills in the water. Course Ive only been in the ocean a few times, im more of a lake swimmer, cuz well..im landlocked...but even while rafting in rapids, no fear of drowning.
