hiya,
read a good one lately?
I'm looking for something akin to The Beach by alex garland - along the lines of travel fiction, or something up to date written by a young author. Or just list a really good book you've read.
cheers

Ah I loved The Beach, made me go to Thailand :D
Get Pixel Juice by Jeff Noon, not travel fiction at all but it's a collection of short stories, kinda influenced by rave culture. Somebody on here recommended it to me and I bought it from Amazon and was well chuffed. He's done a load of full-length novels too but read this first because the stories introduce you to the world he's created. |

A good travel book is 'Round Ireland with a Fridge by Tony Hawks (not the sk8er). Funny. It kept me going through part of my trip in Europe.

MasHiMarO! =)
Heh. As for a good read. I would suggest the "Wheel of Time" series. It rocks. It is a fantasy series, but... I dunno.... it's not like retarded fantasy. It was definately a good read in my honest opinion. Plus they are long. so its not like you read it, and its over.. and there is something like 9 books now. my 2cents =) |
