Well, it really seems like BIG BROTHER is watching you!
How can anyone be so ignorant and stupid... and what ever happened to freedom of expression...
You know, I always thought of Canada as a civilized, developed country... But now that you mentioned that "no dancing after 12" or whatever "law"... hmm... sounds like some third-world country to me, or dictatorship.
You know in some communist countries girls weren't allowed to have their hair styled a certain way... or people weren't allowed to walk the streets at night, because the government thought "everybody should be asleep at 3am, otherwise they're criminals..." I sense a link here!! |

Its in process in the State Senate. It probably will happen. Chicago is a very conservative place, very old skool - everyone likes their house and white picket fence. Raves don't go along with that idea, and politicians always get their way. People are talking about uniting to go against it, but the scene is just too small to make a difference. :( |

| Thats not even that bad, Ottawa is gonna get all public places to ban smoking. Clubs and everything. I understand restaurants, but clubs?? Man and i don't even smoke. |

Hi,
Im from chicago too..clubs get closed for the smallest of reasons..!!!!A club called Karma got closed...k..it was the best 1 in chicago.
Talking about laws...heh...my friend in a club got pissed..went outside and barely touched aSUV...thein owner came and charged him 200$...for a scratch that was not visible also...the cops were also with hium on this..after he was paid..he apid the 2 bouncers 50$ each!!!! |
