Wow. Thats all I can say. I had such a great time. And with the crazy antics of daniela, armando and brent, it was even better =).
I am incredibly too tired right now to make a real review. So when I wake up i'll do a real review. This is just where everyoen should post =).
BTW, at the end of the night, armin came out and talked with us for a bit and took a picture, and when I was talkin to him, he said "I have seen you before on TA." I was confused. But i figured since he reads tranceaddict forums, he might have seen my picture in my avatar or somethin. And erin has a nice story along the same lines to tell =).
But at the first moment he started his set, it was great. When blue pill, red pill came on it was awesome. Great start. There WERE a few tracks that i wasn't into, but its all good. He made me forget about those later hehe =).
Also, it was really awesome meeting the TAs there: zewad(brent), lunasea(daniela), djcubano(armando), leitline(missy), holycow24(rachel). And of course the regs, who i dont need to mention =P. I dont even know what i'm going to write. I just had a really good night. And armin is such a nice guy. Anyone who has not seen him, must do so immediately :p
Alright, well if i think of more i'll post it. But right now i am HUNGRY =) GO ARMIN!
EDIT: How could I forget! I haven't met you guys yet, but really wanted flo, brianna, and arturo to be there as well. Missed you! Maybe another time though =P. Its not the last time armin will spin a crazy set =) |

First of all, I have to say that Armin is the greatest DJ ever :D
even if you dont like his style...he has to be one of the nicest, most down to earth, coolest guys I have met, and he is always there for his fans! :)
That said, it was an incredible night, Armin tore the roof off and threw down a spectacular set!!! Took the decks at 1am and kept spinning till atleast 4:30

omfg...what a night...hopefully pics of all the TA's there will be up soon (lunasea, djcubano, zewad, beema, yujie, szeric, tranceyes22, vtecjunkie, and others I will feel like an ass for forgetting).
and to top it all off, Armin loved my shirt so much, he called me over and gave me a copy of Questia - Nexus Asia that he played that night, off his new lable ASOT records :D :D :D
Then he came outside and talked with all his loving fans and took a group pic with the TA's!!!!!!!!!

OMFG, what a NIGHT. I had never seen Armin spin before and I was absolutely amazed. He's *such* a nice guy and soo animated in the DJ booth. Normally, I spend my nights trying to find free space on the floor so I can go nuts dancing, but for some reason tonight all I wanted to do was stand in front of the DJ booth and wave my arms at him like a lunatic. :crazy: I was right in the front, too, near tranceyes22.
his set seemed to jump around a little bit..there was a point towards the middle that he ventured into hard trance ever so briefly, and then suddenly he was back into melodic trance again. it didn't matter to me, though... I was having such a great time and nothing was jolting enough to break the spell the music had placed over me.
i didn't get to hang out with any of the DCTAs because I was all the way in the front like that...but it was nice meeting all of you at the beginning + end of the night! :)
so now I'm back in NJ and I'm going to try to get a little sleep before my family wakes up and wants do something for father's day.
I think I'm going to frame my signed flyer. :crazy:

| it was a great night... he dropped some amazing songs.. I gave away my signed flyer to a friend who couldnt be there but no worries i have armins signature like a million times... Consistantly amazing was armin with track after track of great trance.. He was great at the end of the night as well.. I cant wait to see him again |

great nite and nice meeting the PPR people. for the first time me and ryan got in to glow for free. i was suprise and the drinks they rip u off, $8 for a too strong long island. nice to take a pix with armin at end of set.

um, did last night really happen?! cuz was that ABSOLUTELY UNREAL to anyone else?! OMFG....everytime i see armin, i say its the best time, but this *may* have been the best out of the 5 times i've seen him. and out of all the times he's been at glow, he seemed to enjoy himself the most last night. what a night! he had sooo much energy and just connected with the crowd in ways other dj's wishes they could. i was in the dead front and center all night, and like rachel (holycow) said, thats all i wanted to do. normally i like to stay up there for a little bit, and then find room to dance- but i honestly could not tear my body away from him. i think he definitely recognized me and my friend (we go every time he's in dc), and he was singing to us and laughing with us and kept making fun of my friends dancing. hahah...he was working the crowd like i've never seen before. i must say, i definitely had the best spot in the house. :)
highlights of the night:
1. when he played "as the rush comes", ooooohhhhh.....mmmmyyyyy.....gooooodd ----> 1st orgasm of the night. everyone was leaning into each other and falling all over each other, but i didnt even care. me and my friend were in the front row and were practically getting crushed, but it fit somehow. i dont think ill ever forget that moment- everyone was singing the lyrics as loud as they could and it was just perfection. the best part was definitely when armin put his hands to the glass and everyone lunged forward to do the same. he's never done that either, i don't know what it was- but armin was loving every second of the glow crowd last night. purely amazing...
2. BEEMA- you missed this on your tracklist! when he played "sky falls down". this is still one of my all time fav songs, and for some reason, i honestly think he knows it is. when it came on, i literally melted. just when i thought i was mush on the floor, armin pointed at me during the hook ("i'll love you till the sky falls down..."), and wouldnt stop! i felt like my soulmate was singing to me....(yes i'm a dork, but thats how it felt!)
3. when armin actually came out to the crowd and danced around with all us....i literally thought he was gonna get mauled. and he kinda did! this was during his first encore "from the heart" and it was such an intense moment. the entire crowd was feeling it, i felt like everyone there was my best friend.
4. when some NASTY, fat, trashy girl flashed armin, he just kinda looked at her..then when he turned back to the crowd, he made a face like he had just seen the most disgusting thing in his entire life. all of us in the front were PISSING ourselves because it was so classic. then armin looked at me, pointed and kinda nodded, like enocuraging me to do it. then he laughed and shook his head to be like "just kidding." hahah he is definitely a tease...
5. when armin came out to take the TA group shot...he came out and was talking to some people, and then kinda looked around at all of us. he stopped at me, gave me this really suspicious look and goes "tranceyes?" OMFG! i done near had a heart attack there...i was like "how do you know that!!!!!" and he was like "i know everything" ;) ...i was like "so i guess you know i have a huge crush on you" and he totally smiled and blushed. i got to hug him 2x, kiss him on the cheek, feel his hair when he came out to the crowd...hehe, i know, i am in love...but i honestly think one of the best things hes ever said to me was the way he said "thank you" last night. at the end, after he signed my flier, he looked right at me, bent down and was like "thank you" with the most sincere look in his eyes. my friend liz and i were talking about it, we can;t even fathom what it must be like to be able to make people so happy on a day to day basis. that's pretty much what his job is- making us happy. so it definitely meant a lot when he said that to me, because he is equally grateful.
wonderful seeing the old gang and some new ones: my girl liz, reuben (beema), srezic, dj illusionz, daniela, armando, sammy, kingsolara, yujie, vtec junkie, holycow, kailya, leitline, zewad, puddin, my friend rob (the announcer- "arminnnn vannnn buuuuuren"), his gf, my girl amanda, and any other TA's i may have forgotten. it was amazing seeing some of you- you guys really are what makes a night so unbelievable. i love all of you!!!
i wish my baby was there to share such a beautiful night with me, but its prolly better you werent...armin was definitely tryin to kick it to me! jk haha...:D
all in all it was an unforgettable night. i remember the girl next to me for some time said she was from LA and saw him at spundae a lot. she also said "you guys are so lucky...i've seen him a dozen times at a lot of different places, but i've never seen him thrown down like how he does here." i was like "THATS CUZ DC LOVES HIM!!!!" :D :p :) :toothless
armin, if you read this, (hehe), thank you for an incredible night. i hope we made your night just as awesome as you made all of ours! :toothless |
