Help With Cue files

Well... i got a cue file.... in the tiesto set.. what the hell do i do with it??.. what is it??

Cue files are the times between the tracks of the set. If you were to burn the set to CD, you would cut up the set into the different songs and then burn them so you wouldn't get a 70min song on the CD then.

but how do i split up the files?
how do i load the cue to my Easy Cd Creator 4?... need some more details |

Actually, you can't load cue files into 'Easy CD Creator'. What you need to do is to split the files up using a program. You will then have a bunch of mp3s which you will then tell 'Easy CD Creator' to burn to a CD. If you want, I have an excellent small program that splits up mp3s easily; just give me your e-mail and I'll send it to you. There is also another program on this site under the 'software' section called 'mp3 cutter' but I find it harder to use than the mp3 splitter I have.

download cdr38b-e.exe
then go to www.astalavista.com, search for a cdrwin crack in "astalavista box", it is a small program you download that has the registation code...enter letters and numbers in the registration code and copy them into the register/or buy place on the CDR - WIn program....you unlock the fully functional program....read directions how to burn....much easier than splitting up tracks individually.....trust me i used to do it the old skool way :D

ok like everyone's said cues are too spliut a huge mix into its respective tracks right well you can use cues in lots of stuff most namely i think cdrwin and firebuner but i just had a convo abou tit before somewhere with nero suppourting it so if you can get a hold of a new nero copy that should do the trick and its very easy to use... all you gotta make sure with your cue is that first bit the line File whatever points to the right place ie.
FILE "d:\mp3!\Dj Tiesto - Magik 6 Live from Amsterdam\Dj Tiesto-Magik6-Live in Amsterdam.mp3" MP3 <---- make sure this path is correct, i think you have to convert it to wav too before burning so it should read .wav and the extention on the end should say WAVE
also if your making a cue file make sure you add the time on
TRACK 01 AUDIO
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 AUDIO
INDEX 01 06:06:44
TRACK 03 AUDIO
INDEX 01 10:39:25 <--- see how this states that it starts at this time, not the actual song length
TRACK 04 AUDIO
INDEX 01 15:08:37
etc
anyway hope this helps if you like il upload my nero (got it on a cd) somewhere and youc an give that a shot but whatever you do dont use cdrwin if you dont have the whole thing i was usingit to burna c ue and it ed up my cds cause it knows its a illegal key but nero works fine......

i'm using nero 5, i discovered where to select cue files, but i keep getting an error that sais there's something wrong at line 3. Who knows what i'm doing wrong? I copied and pasted the cuefile here:

I think the problem is that there is no index 00 in track 01...make it INDEX 01 Goood Luck!!! |
