Fair enough, 24K. The problem is, I strongly dislike the Sonys to begin with - sound-quality-wise. :>(

I dont think I can agree with you about the Sony quality. They sound pretty sweet to me, even with some major wattage going through them.

I don't know, with the Sonys the mids just don't seem to be there as much. Does anyone know if the pioneers are better for this?
sebjr
mids sound pretty good on mine

between the 700's and hdj-1000's, which has more noise reduction?

The MDR-V700's have less than the Technics 1210's and old sehdj pioneers.... how does iut rank against the HDJ-1000???

The poll is too limited.

I'd go for none of the headphones listed.

Thats right Ministry of Sound 1001's!

Even tho I use hdj-1000s. There are other options than the ones mentioned. Can't say I don't like mine, I think they're great.

Got the HDJ1000s in the mail today and so far I am quite impressed, I really like the mono/stereo function on the cup, and they sit very comfortably (although I haven't used them for an extensive period of time yet).

The one thing about them so far that kinda dissaudes me from thinking they are the overall best pair of phones would be the very bassy tones. They are incredibly huge!! Mayhap that be just becuase I haven't worn them I do not know...like I am unused to it...

we'll find out

I'll repost after a bit more use.

personally i would go with hd25's much better than all of those 3 you mentioned. if not them then the tecnics. the pioneers i havent used but a friend of mine has them he seems to like them.

the sony ones a crap, after awhile of using them they end up cracking and then they just break. http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/sh...&threadid=54611
should help you out with your decision about the sonys.
