I'm SOOOOOOO Pissed...

alright so the story starts when i get out of school for the summer and i move home to cut down on rent costs. i've been waiting for my dad to get a network setup so that they will have there computer and i'll have mine. in the meantime though, i've been downloading via the hub so that i can stay current right...gotta stay current. anyway, i'd planned on moving everything over to my computer once the network is setup.
so yesterday i guess we get this email the other day warning us that because we've downloaded music in the last 2 months are computer could be infected with "spyware". so i was out at my girlfriends last night and i came home to a computer without any of my music on it...my dad deleted it all because he's scared of the . IT WAS JUST JUNK MAIL!!!! The only reason that we got it anyway is that my sister uses Kazaa to download all her rap crap. i don't use that crap...i got the hub, but now some of my most searched out and found mp3's are gone...I mean of course i really couldn't care about the common songs, but i had some songs that are almost impossible to find on mp3...to put it simply..i'm sooooo pissed. |

Thats happened to me too! OMG!!!!!! HAHAHAH Thats too funny!
When I used to share my comp. with my mom she got all these messages and pop ups and I guess one of the messages was talking about spyware and all that crap, and next thing I know she was formatting the hard drive without even telling me!!:whip: :whip: :whip: I was gonna snap!
But thats why I bought my own, and now she aint touching E haha |

| yeah... i do back up my harddrive, but this was just temporary ya know...oh well...i'm sure that i can get it all back...IN THE NEXT THREE YEARS heheheh... |

| i'm sharing a comp, but it has both WinXP and Linux on it. i'm not allowed to download mp3s on windows but i'm allowed to do whatever i want in linux, so does anybody know if theres a way to get on the hub using linux?? |

Ok, cuz I know there is a way where you can almost go back in time and undo what you did.,,, for example, I uninstalled a program and it took with it a driver, and I couldnt use my CD rom, so I went into this system program, and I went back to my options that I had the day before I uninstalled the program and all my files that I uninstalled came back and everything worked again :)
My computer downstairs is Windows 98 and I think I did it to that one before as well,,, I will try to find out how I did it on 98 and I will let you know ok? |

Have you tried using a program called easyrecovery professional.You should be able to get them back using this. |
