They changed the theme of carabana into international day because of discremenation... i think they should change Pride parade into Love parade for discremenation as well.

Pride is a display of solidarity and support AGAINST discrimination. It is a celebration of sexual diversity that heteros and GLBT can particpate in.

hope every one had a happy pride.
i was on the OCAD/U of T float w/ rainbow painted penis's and vagina's blowing bubbles in fairy wings and fuscia organza w/ no top put 2 strategically taped stars! I had a blas and I hope everyone who came out enjoyed themselves. I made it over to where the DJ's were and stayed for a bit, but the rain was just too hard and i have to work tomorrow. |

^^^^^^^^^^^ I was there along with a bunch friends, though I had to leave early for my Moms B-day but seemed like everybody had a great time ;)

thanks for posting the pics dr goodvibe, matt was on teh other side of the street and was unable to take any. i had a wicked time, altho i can't believe i wore that. At the time so many women were topless that i felt pretty covered- don't worry, i won't wear that to the TA night!

aka LOVE parade which happen to show the EXACT same thing and it is run for the EXACT same reason!
my point was that the name of the event is offensive to ppl who are not gay or lesbian. Again, i don't have any proof, just IMO, i think the organizers should just go with "THE LOVE PARADE" because i doesn't discrimenate. As u said, the parade is against discrimination so u might as well just stretch it a bit and not emphasize on the word gay or lesbian.
this is not coming from a homophobe. This is coming from a person who thinks that everyone is entitled to do any and everything they are cabable of doing. As long as u feel good doing it (no pun intended) |

Nice stars tara...you guys looked like you were having fun up there. It was such a great day. Good to see so many people having such a good time. Can't wait until next year now |

It is called the Pride parade. I Had a good time until my girlfriends ran out of money and went home. (F.Y.I. Im not gay, and there were tons of topless lesbians)
AND I SAW THE FUNNIEST THING, A gay bouncer was trying to kick this other gay guy out for being to drunk and the drunk dude screamed like a little girl "Dont touch me" and he hid in the corner with his cell phone... so the bouncer took his cell phone and broke it and the guy started to cry, then all the other bouncers grabbed him and threw him out and the whole bar cheered for the bouncers
