ehh i dont know
at first i was sceptical because cameron wasnt doing it
then the first trailer i saw was kinda cheesy to me
but lately these new ones make me think it can be as good as the second one if not better
but i am ready to be dissapointed

Well, Roger Ebert is saying that it's suppoused to be rather good. It's suppoused to be entertaining, and the CGI is suppoused to be "dazzling". But, it won't have the storyline of the Hulk. Bottom line, where I'm at the ticket is only 5 bucks, and this looks like it really won't be a waste.:)

Even if its half as good as t2, itll still be a sweet movie.

I saw this on Sunday and its a pretty entertaining movie. Its no T2,and they knew they couldn't top it. The action scenes are mind blowing. That part when TX boobs get bigger is pretty funny, neat how they worked it in :D
Shudder
nice movie, got some eye candy but still doesnt beat t2. i guess all it does is say something about skynet... :)

I dont trust Ebert any more he's starting to lose his mind to old age. For example he raved over Matrix2, which was a complete disaster.
k.k.d.
Just back from the movie.. It's good action flick (nothing more than that).. The chick is hot, and the ending is surprisingly good and not americanized :p

So yeah... Was worth it .. ;)

the directors, screenwriters producers and actors are getting paid millions to make the movie along with a 300 million dollar budget so its expected of them to make the movie good...but it was crap..the end

actually i am on topic, i was responding to someone's post about ebert's review of T3, and i was calling into question eberts ability to critic movies well and cited his review of M2 as an example.

After reading ebert review of T3, i think he is dead on about the recent trend of hi tech movies which i dont care for:
"Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is made in the spirit of these slick new action thrillers, and abandons its own tradition to provide wall-to-wall action in what is essentially one long chase and fight, punctuated by comic, campy or simplistic dialogue."

btw, this is off topic but who cares (besides u and the thought police). So what ur saying is that anyone who doesn't have the ability to produce/direct a movie has no right to have an opinion or critic it? Its obvious by ur tone i can see u like M2 (hope i didnt hurt ur feelings by criticising "ur movie").
