Anyone here workout?

anyone here work out? If so, what is your workout routine like?

I run mostly and ive been working out regularly everyday for the past several weeks thanks to the great weather we've been having. I feel 10000 x's better about myself and i sleep very well now. No more of those sleepless nights being a zombie :) My friends say that I seem much more happier and laid back now too so i highly recommend working out to everyone that isnt already. Today is my first day of doing yoga as well. . . ahh nothing like listening to prog and trance while doing yoga. My friends say that sounds kinda sissy but i heard its suppose to make your body and soul relaxed and peaceful. We'll have to see

i try to but i am too tired most of the time. most of my cardio comes from going up my stairs, rollerblading, and dancing. i am goign to try and start going to the gym on my lunch hour for weights, low weight, high reps.

yea i heard yoga is dope it does crazy to u and makes ur soul feel clean. i like the idea thumbs up

this will be no easy cake walk though. I cant even sit indian style without it hurtin. :(

I don't do yoga...but you can usually find me at the gym or on a soccer field.

I go work out at night after Tamtui goes to bed. :) I love working out at night! Don't know why.

I like the machines that glide. I have no clue what they're called, and the bikes, stairsteppers. I dont work on the free weights/machine weights. I usually just do my own situps and pushups at home :)

Oh yes, I do Yoga at home with my Yoga mat fun stuff

yeah guess it's an eliptical machine then.... no impact running machine :)

If you do run alot, if its not natural running outside, ONLY use the eliptical machines that the gym has. They are the best running machines and do absolutely no damage to any joints what so ever. When I used to work out, when I worked at balley's, I used to do alot of stuff, but I would keep it like a schedule: 1 day do chest and shoulders, another day do legs, another day do back and abs; and every workout would start and end with a cardio routine, usually running.

FYI, Bally's personal training is complete BS. Few care about you, they just care about making money off you.

peter, that is so awesome that you're doing yoga.. i'm a big fan of yoga.. i'm a yogee :haha: :stongue: :toothless


about the stretching/hurting.. don't worry, in 5 sessions or so, you prally won't be hurting so much anymore :) the more u stretch, the more stretchable you'll be! ...and you know, that's useful for a lot of things.. ;)

I work out about 4x a week. pretty much follow vlad's schedule except I only do cardio at the end of a workout because it burns too many calories at the beginning of it. you don't get as good of a weight training workout if you burn all your calories beforehand.

I forgot to specify, I do cardio in the beginning for about 10 minutes to warm up my body. At the end of the workout I do as much as I can on the eliptical.

This is what im doing right now (Leaning up routine)

Mon. - Chest / abs *

Tue. - Cardio

Wed. - Back / Tricepts / abs *

Thu. - Cardio

Friday - Bi's / Shoulders abs *


*= Not resting between sets
