Hey guys, created a TA wallpaper a little while back , but never got round to posting it.

ahh no?
the landscape was rendered in terragen.
the cloudscape was created in photoshop.
and the text was 'put over the top.
ill send your the psd mr cynic. |

| You posted this a while back might of been here or in the Aus forum, but i rembered someoen say that the bottom right corner was missing water and looked bad? Might wnana re do it ;) |

| Bit too bright for my liking. A dark background would be better; to go with the colour scheme of the site. :) |

I kinda like it. And i design desktop wallpapers a lot, often professionally.
Its open, balanced, clean and aspirational. People put too much crap on wallpaper designs - about 1000 45degree 1px lines isn't really very clever and it makes all your icons look . So yeah. I like this one. And the fact its rendered out and not stock is a bonus. So. Nice. |

Make some minimalistic wallpapers :D
But really, it's SOOO much better to have an "unbalanced" wallpaper so that your desktop icons can balance it out naturally. Much better than just having some picture on the desktop. |

Man, I wish I knew how to do this stuff. I'm good at art, just don't have the time to learn the software. Maybe later this summer...
BTW I like the wallpaper, just lacks a bit of depth, especially at the right side... Something about it, too bright? Not enough texture? And yes, the seaweed thing on the water at the bottom right looks ackward. All in all though, good job. :) |
