Hmm, this is probably correct, i remember this from physics class. The only reason i remember is because our teacher told us this story about some army guys marching in a parade and since when they march their feet are in unisen, when they crossed over a bridge the resonating frequency from their marching was the same as the threshold point (?) of the bridge and it collapsed beneath them lol... |

hehe i heard the same story, but the bridge collapsed because they weren't walking in unisen... hehehe |

Haven't you heard of the new suicide cups? They're commonly made of glass, plastic, or metal, can be any solid color or pattern. Some have handles, and some can even carry liquids. Beware of any cups/mugs/glasses fitting this description; they have recently been recruited by either osama or saddam, and should be treated accordingly--

that happened to me 2x last summer and once last september...
it was hot out and i had a tall glass and poured some cold drink into it..and the whole thing just broke. that happed a few times , made me really pissed cuz it was so messy!
then i had a big ceramic bowl and i had just made raman noodles in it, and i took it out of the microwave. the second i put a spoon in it to mix it, it broke and spilled it everywhere.
i think it's because there are minute cracks in it and as you know , heat causes molcules to expand, yada yada yada... |
