i would have to say that i disagree with you
these projects (komodo\like this like that etc) seems more like some projects to get some more money
if you listen to 90% of all his trax produced you will see that that they are banging techno or tech trance

I agree with you partial. komodo and proximus are pretty commercial, but Like this like that isn't that commercial at all. |

Mauro may be commercial with his radio versions of Komodo, Iguana , Proximus and Like this, Like that , but everytime he's spinning at a RAVE ...he spins AMAZING ........men he RULED @ Qliámx two weeks ago ...UNBELIEVABLE ....

| I think he just caters for a wider range of people. Some of his tracks might be "popular" in the sense, but his sets are far from commercial...i.e they rock. |

| well Picotto is releasing some commercial tracks,but I think tha's just to get extra money(like verminator said),and even maybe for the fun of it,anyaways Picotto isn't getting totally commercial,so no need to panic :D |

I used to think that Mauro is a commercial "DJ", like
Gigi D'Agostino or Baloon or.... you know.
But I listened his Mayday2001 set and realized that he is
a real talent. He played amazing tunes!!!!
I don't know why he is a as a producer.
Cause I hate his own songs. They are all so commercial. |

ok
maybe u dont like his songs (i cant tell you what to think)
but his productions are not commercial
only some songs are
i think u should listen to his albums (metamorphose\rush hour\++) before you say he 's to commercial
he only plays bangning tunes
and
almost all his songs are pure bangning techno (which is not commercial at all)
some examples ; verdi, baguette, kebab, taub (picotto mix) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Picotto collaborates with Gigi D'agostino so I assume that's why you thought that!
"Komodo" is overplayed cheese (Somebody told me it played on Childrens BBC) and "Like This Like That" is a complete rip off of Armin "Blue Fear". I still don't mind "Proximus" and his onld RAF tracks are cool! |
