OMFG...
I thought GUV was bad for getting hot and sweaty...
It was so bad that we landed up leaving early (was there from 11-2).
It was a human suana and I was soaked....blek...
Everyone was so lathergic that we couldn't even really dance and I think the DJ sensed that too by playing slower, housier(sp?) tOOns...
I'm worried because LOTUS looks like they're going to have a great lineup but I'm not going back until they fix that situation pronto...
GUYS....LEARN TO CATER TO YOUR AUDIENCE BEFORE THINKING ABOUT THE BIG BUCKS...
Remember, if we don't show, you might as well close your doors now...
Sorry to sound so gruff, but get the act together with some class before trying to swoo the money out of my pocket.
Just because it's hot and sweaty doesn't mean I'm going to automatically go to the bar to get something cold to drink...
This bar philosophy is a falicy. I'll drink more because I'm comfortable and enjoying myself more than hot and gross...
I can just as well leave; which I think a lot of people did...
I like the club but lets get it together first huh?

some ppl showed up at system that had been at lotus. apparently they AC was broken in there and it was 50 degrees! holy shiza- and we ran into sohanness on the way back to teh car and he looked like he had run a marathon.
i feel bad for you guys!

haha oh man .. yeah i read about this on Tribe .. the club got ripped pretty bad on its review there!
man that's crazy tho .. i mean isn't it a heath hazzard or something? Guv should learn as well but whatever we all know that story already ..
so Jeff, is Warren ur new personal trainer? how many pounds did he help u sweat off .. ? :D |

you should have stuck around. it got progressively cooler after about 2am or so when people started to clear out. there were only a handful of people left at the end, and it wasnt that hot anymore.
anyway, i thought a lot of people handled it really well. lots of people smiling and dancing...i didnt get any attitude from anyone.
made my way over to element afterwards where nick warren came and played in that tiny basement. it was soooo good! and yea, i ran into tara and matt! i must have looked like a mess! my clothes were still soaked when i got home.

True about the attitude thing, everyone was great..
I woulda stayed longer but I had some morning commitments and my buddies were fed up with the heat...
Yea, Nick Warren is my workout bud now lol...
Luckily I survived just nicely the next day at the gym... :P |

That's what I heard too...that they hadn't gotten them installed "yet".
But after reading the TRIBE.CA board I'm hearing that the air conditioning system broke the day before...

Actually, this is a fact. They have no air conditioner nor have they had anything a/c from day 1.
