Hi, my name is Jeff aka Fir3start3r and I love alternative retro 80s...
(actually I have very full folders of Hair Bands, Classic Rock, Classic House, Pop 80s and of course, alternative 80s; anything with a synth and/or an 808)...
Being of that generation, I love the style because it was so unique and they weren't afraid to experiment.
And the best of the best of the 80s came from CANADA!!!

Oh I totally love going to the Joker on Sat. Nites, they just play most of the classics plus there's also a second room upstairs where you can go listen to something else if you get bored of retro. :P
Ryanm--I live pretty close to the Phoenix too, a couple of blocks down from it actually..I wouldn't mind going with all the RetroAddicted TA's for a Retro TA night to Joker or Phoenix..maybe both, Phoenix Friday and Joker Sat, haha that'd be zwweeett....what do you all think?? :p |

damn we used to sing that in computer class every 5 minutes in a big group....finally our prof accepted it as our class anthem and let us sing it whenever we wanted |

I can see the Phonenix from my kitchen and backyard and I can hear it most nights. I'm completely up for a retro night out where we can all be silly and have fun |
