I was afraid that one day it will come to this ... but ... I CONFESS, DAMN IT!!! RETRO was the music that propelled me into the dance music of the early 90s and then the trance, techno, bla bla, etc, even though I was a little cute baby back then. My Retro music folder is extremely hungry for some more good pumpin classic retro tracks. PLEASE, PLEASE, post MORE!!!! awesomest danciest HOT RETRO TRACKS!!! But no rock or POP, please. REAL RETRO TRACKS, like these:
Stacey Q - Two Of Hearts,
Art Of Noise - Moments In Love,
Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence,
Nu Shooz - I Can't Wait,
Trans X - Living On Video,
Kylie Minogue - Locomotion,
Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F,
Inner City - Big Fun,
Madonna - Like A Virgin,
Pet Shop Boys - Domino Dancing, Bananarama - I Heard A Rumor / Venus, Moskwa TV - Generator 7/8,
New Order & Depeche Mode - Strange Love Triangle, also tracks by VANGELIS, DEPECHE MODE, MADONNA!
If you know better retro tracks than those THEN PROVE it by writing some down in the new replies!!! RETRO LIVES ON FOREVER!!!!!!!! (to all who know me: P.S. I am still a trance/techno/psy-ADDICT!!)

You might want to ask E*Master as well he knows lots of them although he's the same age as me   ;) ;) :p :p :p :p |

now, the only way we can admit to being a RetroAddict or casual listener of retro music is to confes it with dignity. So here goes. STOP THE DENIAL! THERE IS NO SHAME IN ADMITING U LIKE/LOVE Retro. So here I go:
My Name is E*Master and I have been a RetroAddict since I was 7 years old.
I can't stop listening to 80s. Especially early 80s. I am only 23 yet I Immensly enjoy the sounds @ Joker on some Saturday nights where I let go and dance to the 80s. Favourite tacks include a lot of Depeche mode (people are people ), Falco and A-ha's take on me is to Die for. I go the most nuts when they play Major Tom (english version only here in Canada but i like the German version better) by Peter Schilling. I got the records to prove it .
major tom by peter schilling is awesome. true classic. feel weird admitting this |

what's the biggie?
I still LOVE the music i listened to b4 the electro-age...
From Jim Morrison (thanks Cattaneo, hahahah!!!!!) & the Doors, Janis & Bob Dylan, New Order and Billy Idol, U2 and Duran Duran, Madonna (hey!)....to.. very funky stuff.
And I still hit Phoenix sometimes on Friday night... just to hear: hungry like the wolf, dancing with myself, and... bizarre love triangle.
How about Pet Shop Boys? Gloria Gaynor? The Bee Gees? Hahaha...
I'm proud to have "strong" roots as it is for music/tunes.
:disbelief :disbelief :disbelief
love believers :D |
