There must be a good reason for it tho...
I wouldn't say anything until I look through the booklet!;) |

| I just finished listening to this album and I must say that I loved it. BT is a musical genius IMO. I will definately purchase this once it hits the shelves. :D |

Is the cover that promo pic of BT doing what looks like praying? Didn't Oakenfold do a famous promo pic just like that, except his head wasn't as tilted down...?
Maybe he is praying to break into the Total Request Live countdown on MTV with his new material. ;) (joking, don't shoot me!) |

| IMO this album is perfect, I even like the rock and roll songs at the end. |

This is truly a phenomenal piece of work by BT... I've listened to all of his previous work, and various other stuff... If you've paid attention to BT he likes to shift his sounds often, this is no exception, It's got more of the breakbeat/rap roots than some of his other albums have had. If you expect an artist to stay exactly the same forever, this probably isnt the album for you, but after listening to it once, I'm in love with it, as I have been with all of BT's previous contributions.
He's my favorite DJ that isnt a DJ. =) |

As always, the musical side of things (the mixing, production, etc) is top notch. BT never lets down there. I love how "complicated" or "deep" his mixes are... there is always so much going on in his songs it takes a few listens to catch all the different layers.
As for the lyrics, they get whackier every album, and now they're to the point where a couple tracks I just skip. To me, the lyrics matter as much as the music. If it's cheesy or embarrassing or just plain weird, I can't stand listening to it, even if the music is awesome.
So far some of the tracks definitely stand out as excellent - Somnambulist, PARIS, Force of Gravity. |
