Dear JamX & De Leon,
Please please go to Toronto in September. And once you're done there, please move on to Dublin, Ireland. I would be eternally grateful.
To all hard trance/techno Djs out there:
I know Ireland has GG once a year, but please keep in mind that the rest of the year we have abslutely nothing and hence must resort to listening to house, euro or very unprofessional psy trance sets by DJs who don't even deserve to stand behind turntables.
Ireland is not that far away, and admittedly you may not be getting paid as much when you go to Dublin than when you go elsewhere but please be reminded that this is only because people don't know what trance is in this country therefore the demand for it is not huge.
Please think of us poor souls in Dublin & don't leave us out anymore!

Uh, Liam- please speak for yourself in your messages to the dj's, and not anyone else. This matter never concerned you, no one asked u to intervene, and fyi, this issue (which occured 2 mos ago!) was resolved within 2-3 days of its occurance (no one was out to 'get' shaya). You never stuck around long enuf to know that, did u? |

Liam (no offence here):
Anybody who is -in- the music industry (which I am not) knows that Mac and ProTools are the preferred platform for production (not PC).
Nearly all the music you hear that has had digital production or editing has either been done on a Mac (with Logic or ProTools) or done on a ProTools rig (w/ ProTools hardware).
I'm not blowing smoke out my ass either, I asked someone who is in the industry, currently working in LA, and someone who has been employed by two major lables (Sony, Universal). |

Wake-up call: there's really no point in asking DJ's to spin at a particular club (or not to spin at a particular club). They just go wherever they are booked. If you want them to spin at Viva, then you better ask the promoters!
