Either way, he was still part of it and no he wasn't some big name DJ back then. Like I said, I wasn't sure how accurate my info was that I posted so there is no reason for you to bash me about it. You probably are thinking I'm some kind of Vandit wh0re and stalk PvD also, in which you are VERY wrong. I really can't stand much of PvD's music or the stuff he spins.
But to make my point clear, PvD has been involved with the whole Loveparade movement since it started and that is why he is always at this event. |

| Mixmag called him leader of the trance nation in 1999 I think. My guess for the track he's talking about is ATB - 9pm til I come. Paul ing hated that track =P |

| I left Love from above before pauls big set but the night up till then had been mostly techno and tech house... He also played a techno set on the radio 1 truck during the parade... was a bit of a let down, i was under the impresion that the german scene was dominated by trance and hard trance but i heard more techno all weekend than anythign else. Not that i particularly dislike techno but when i go to an event with tiesto and pvd on the lineup im expecting a big trance night yknow.... |

Exactly my opinion as well.. Although I wouldnt call Tiestos set techno and tech house? |

Sounds like you need to be educated on Loveparade. The movement started way back when the Berlin wall was taken down...Paul was part of the movement and every year since then they've celebrated in a party known as Loveparade.
I'm not sure if that's 100% how the story goes, but it's something close to that. |

well, i'm glad someone else here knows the score :gsmile: . for the others, maybe you will have better luck saying paul created Nature One ;) .
EDIT: i don't know PvD's first love parade but i have this big LP poster from 94 (this one:  ). it lists the deejays for a few of the major events/clubs (interference@tresor ... e-werk) and nowhere is PvD's name to be seen on it.
okay, so sorry for bashing you but it's kind of silly to think that PvD was involved in the origins of LP. |

How would you describe it then? It seemed to be getting trancier towards the end but just when you thought it was getting good he;d throw down some cheesy house tune... |
