| i was at a swim meet this weekend and if u dont know swim meets tend to be just long periods of sitting around. My cd burner broke the week before, so all i had was an old cd with greece 2001 song on it, but i realized after listening to it so many times that i will never be tired of hearing it because it is such a good song. its so simple yet complex, there are so many trance songs like that that i can just listne to over and over again. |

looks to be one artist, called themselves greece 2001, and remixed the track (probably unofficially)
I think he is probably referring to the much more popular greece 2000, remixed about 13 times and released on several different labels.
then again, discogs is hardly the great resource i once thought it was, here is the page for Three Drives the artist (correct)

this particular artist/track combo used to confuse me, for the longest time, i did not know which was which. but once i found other great classics from three drives, such as sunset in ibiza, carrera 2, and even a lesser known track turkey 2000, it was clear to me that three drives is the artist, and greece 2000 the name of the famous track.
it appears to have confused other people as well. So, how is the 2001 track, any good? what label is it on? |

errr no. greece 2001 was by three drives aswell as 2000. It was a reworked version of 2000 keepign the same similar melody (just played about with slighly, and just updating the sound from 1998 to 2001. He could well be listening to 2001. if you want a scan in of the inside cover or a mp3 sample, ill do it.
How baout the thread starter upload the sample and we'll see if its 2000 or 2001. i cant see why somone would name 2000 as 2001, only the other way round...

yeah, i'd love a scan and a mp3 sampled, that'd be great. not cuz i think you are lying, just cuz i haven't seen it, and i love that song, and have all (or at least i thought) the mixes.
maybe the poster could tell us what CD he was listening to? he said an old CD, i was thinking it was maybe tranceport.. |
