prog is prog ..some is moe trancy like holden and others are more house like satoshi ect but its all prog one way or the other prog can fall in tribal,house,breaks,trance,deep,etc

Armin classifies himself as "progressive" DJ since he doesn't like to be catagorized as a Trance DJ. I don't buy that personally :)
But if by his defination "Prog" is his style of music, then he's my fav!
But IMO "Progessive" is just a trend word being used bc "trance" has gotten too general. |

I don't know about that. To me, trance is sets that DJs like PVD and Ferry play, while progressive is more Sander K and Sasha & Digweed.
Armin has been sounding more and more progressive though. |
