techno = impossible to hear on the radio, VERY VERY VERY underground especially in the united states
trance = could possibly hear cheese trance on the radio but very slim
so just say, "you will never hear a real techno song in your life" |

ROTF!
I like it all so it makes no difference to me. I just figure, if I like it and it sounds weird, then it fits into one of those categories, and which one? Who gives a if you are truly enjoying it :) |

| What if you like progressive, then u gotta explain that one. Like less melody and more beat driven you could say i guess. |

Whenever I wanna listen to some good techno I start up my car and put my ear to the engine block ....
VRM VRM VRM VRM VRM BOOM BOOM! VRM VRM VRM VRM VRM VRM BOOM! VRM VRM VRM BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Then I constantly scream out "I die!" whenever I hear a particularly good VRM or BOOM. |

I think you'll find he does duck, jamie is one of two people I know who've been listening to music for longer than I have on the same sort of path through styles, and the guy is a walking knowledge book, he might write on his ass or look like a clown at times, but the guy knows his music.
I dont normally say this but go download
Umek set
Adam Beyer Set
Armin Set
Ferry Set
Digweed Set
And then come back & tell me that trance & techno are the same ;) |
