haha. In 7th grade I used to have a female teacher who used to call the guys "G." LMAO........she was cool though. :stongue: :toothless |

I burned my teacher a cd with a bunch of live sets including Ferry Corsten's World Tour: Washington on Thursday. This guy (Mr. Martinez) is a big trance fan, and has said before that he thinks it's today's Mozart and Beethoven.
So anyway, we show up in class today, and I see he has a boom box on his desk. He tells us our assignment for this class period is to listen to an entire 74 min set with our eyes closed! The set was FC's Word Tour: Washington. He goes on to say that after the set, he's gonna give us an assignment.
The assignment: we have to list 10 sentences that describe how the music makes us "feel", with the 10th sentence being a conclusion.
Crazy huh?
Anyone feel like doing my assignment for me? :toothless |
I've taken his class b4..........he's a unique teacher. I remember listening to pet shop boys in his class, and in our play we played the utraxx remix of imagine. Very interesting class, and everybody gets an A. |

| this reminds me of my taking Angelic Touchdown - Marinero (Nu-NRG Remix) into class because my spanish teacher was asking for songs with Spanish lyrics (still not as cool as your situation!) It was not greeted very well, with most kids not really liking it. My teacher tried to mitigate the situation by calling it "experimental music" and rambling off about one of her friends who is into it. |

I agree, also i recognize trance as a sort of evolution of classical music in a technological age.

As the rush comes.
Energy is everywhere.
The Ever-changing.
We have hope.
Wanting is needing.
I'm a ghost.
The journey worth taking.
Love is gravity.
Reality and fiction.
God is a DJ.
Those are the 10 worlds that describe my output from the set, in that order.
I'll update you guys on the rest of the classes’ reaction after class. |
