thats funny actually, I had read that some conservative judges waited to retire throughout the Clinton administration until a republicin was in the white house so that conservative judges can be appointed. I would only hope that they retire under a Democrat.. |

Anway this guy is definetely going on my newly started jackass list: Pat Robertson, N. Korea.
But ultimately supreme court justices have to be confirmed by congress so it's unlikely that any outspoken ultra-conservative judges would pass the selection process. Some of the most moderate or centrist justices were appointed by republicans. |

Funny how he lashes out at Bush for going against Taylor in Liberia. How f$cking blatantly obvious is Robertson's gold-mining business dealings with Taylor? It's beyond obsurdity. |

Well ... right now I'm sticking to political jackasses... although Steve-O is a literal jackass and Uday Hussein is a murder/monster they aren't political jackasses in the sense that I'm thinking. And the list is not retroactive ... I'll include Bill Frist however. |

Yep. Definitely agree with your nomination of Bill Frist.
And indeed, like MisterOpus has said, Pat Robertson has been (funnily enough) the only Christian Conservative actively supporting Charles Taylor in Liberia. Why? "Because he loves Jesus." Apparently when Taylor visited a service in America he "prostrated himself in front of the audience proclaiming his love for Jesus," and evidently our ol' Pat is using that as the basis for their undying love for each other (the real reason has been alluded to above)
