That's chump change compared to what they've spent on a far more ridiculous war - the war on drugs, but I digress...
In any case one can be reasonably sure that even if we didn't spend all that money on the war in Iraq, we wouldn't have spent it wisely anyway. Best that our government doesn't take it away from us in the first place to fund its inane project-o-the-moment. |

Sorry for the bad formatting. In per capita costs, it's not all that different from previous wars in the past. We'll see how much the total cost is following the end of conflict however. |
