Hey guys..
Yet another Meriva remix :D (big thanks to LW)
First off I'd like to say how much I enjoyed remixing this track.. LW you did such a great job with that melody, it really grows on you!
I finished this remix suprisingly quickly. I've gone for a full-on uplifting/epic approach, my usual style really...
Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it, and I hope you feel this does the original the justice it deserves :)

Hmmmmm. Almost as good as the original, very close. ;) I love what you've done with it, absolutely have no complaints whatsoever. The only reason I like the original more is because it sounds better as more of a melodic track instead of Epic/Uplifting.
Don't know what else to say, it's just wonderful! Looks like we have another mix to put on the vinyl now. :D |

I like the way you chilled it out a bit more, it adds to the original. I do feel it's a bit missing in the low end (the bassline sounds a bit too low pitched maybe?). Great soft remix after all, I'll shift it onto the remix cd :)

alrighty, lets hear this beauty. i like the panning in the percussion. im quite fond of the bass also. i think that the clap could be a bit more defined. i like your effects. at 2:25 im already orgasming. gorgeous breakdown. great piano. beautiful melody. great remix man. :)

nice track. good work again s2k.
ok im just gonna write as i listen.the kick is ok, a bit stompy.and the crash is too intense,a more softer long crash would nice.good intro of synths,rolling bassline is good.and the intro of the sub riff is well blended.it develops not too unsimilar to brens mix, with the intro of the ride etc, theres a nice little acid line somewhere in there too.
the lightning sounds are too loud and sharp i think,lovely piano;)and lovely flange on the strings,the res is very high?
ah yes the kick intro is well nice..here comes the bass...and hats. lovely :) very nice high end synths swirling around in there too. id flip a coin between urs and brens mix for the vinyl...i slightly prefer brens as its that bit harder.:p

I loved this. Nothing really more to add to what everyone else has said already.
Again the pianos are simple yet effective and the flange on the main synth lead is just perfect. Awesome stuff. |

| Very in nice remix mate. imo better than original. in love the way u use the thuder samples and the piano is spot on with the pad in the back ground. i think my only gripe is that when it kicks it doesnt really add too much more to whats already happening. maybe drop everythin down or have a little 2 bar gap just b4 it kicks in at 4:47. other than that, its very well produced and makes wikked use of the melody. and i just love the swirlin (phase or flange) on the main lead. |
