No, there are also the E'd, G'ed, and Coked out druglords who get high as a kite and sit in the chillout or on the floor and don't have a clue what's going on or who's spinning. And then there are the Guv sluts (essentially Ginas, but more homely and less friendly) whose necks are permanently bent from having their noses in the air for 8 hours per week.
I'm being facetious of course... most people on tranceaddict don't really fit any of the above categories, and stereotyping won't get us anywhere. Everybody is unique, but when we refer to Ginos/Ginas, we are talking about members of a self-centered, sheep-like conformist group, both men and women who invariably obsess over their clothes, cars, and bodies, even though none of those things really appear to impress anybody else. It is kind of a sad subculture unique to Toronto (not to worry though, other big cities have equally sad subcultures).
Nothing to do with clothes at all... it is just, coincidentally, part of the stereotype. |

I'd have to be high on some substance to consider going...or be a liam. Seriously MC MARIO is a horrible dj who enjoys megamixes and I hate that. DJ Danny D...or as i call him DJ Trainwreck...the guy cannot mix eggs let alone records....yet is one of toronto's biggest deejays.
Theresa..they will not play trance...please do not be confused...what they call trance is horrible cheese pop trash that should never be played in clubs.
The acts...frankly none of them appeals....and stevie b..the freestyle king...(yes i have met him...rofl..nice guy...but i hate his music).

nope
there are multiple types....ginos/ginas are the attitude type who us half a tube of gel each time they go out, think they are the cos they wear stuff like kappa and all, most of them wear those pouches around their shoulders along with an athlethic head band and use terms like...sick, safe, disgusting, bra (or bro)etc.

there are 3 other types of clubbers...
1. the elite/upscale wannabes: they dress up in shiny shoes and formal gear. their music likings are mainly all genres of house and they consider prog trance house too
2. the "who gives a what i look like..i like this, i wear it" type: this is mainly found among TAs who basically couldnt give a damn cos they aint goin to a club to pick up chicks like the ginos and the elite wannabes
3. the hardcores: these are the ravers adn all that..u know the rest
these are my classifications.....oh and sometimes i tend to fall in the elite section...yep..im elite wannabe :happy2: |
